We have prepared this Privacy Notice to inform you, within the framework of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”) and the related legislation, about the personal data we process in our capacity as data controller. Below you will find detailed information on how your personal data are processed, according to the group of persons and the process that defines your relationship with Att. Ahmet Kaymaz.

Job and Internship Applicants

In the course of job and internship application processes, we obtain your personal data through the application form on our website and through the CVs you share with us by email.

Personal data processed: identity (name, surname), contact (email address, mobile phone number, address), personnel (CV information, the field you applied for) and professional experience (educational background and professional competence information).

Method of collection: electronic forms, emails and telephone calls.

Purposes of processing: carrying out selection and placement processes for job applicants, interns and students; carrying out job applicants’ application processes; planning human resources processes and carrying out communication activities.

Legal ground: Your personal data are processed solely for the purposes above, on the legal ground set out in Article 5(2)(f) of the KVKK: “processing of data is mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that this does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject”.

Transfer: Within the purposes above, in accordance with Article 8 of the KVKK and by taking the necessary technical and administrative measures, these personal data may be transferred to our business partners resident in Turkey; if you share your information through electronic forms, to infrastructure providers whose servers are located abroad; and, where necessary to fulfil our legal obligations, to authorised public institutions and organisations as required by legal regulations and legislation.

Our Clients

In the course of the legal advisory and legal representation services we provide, personal data belonging to our individual clients and to the authorised representatives and employees of our corporate clients are processed.

Personal data processed: identity (name, surname, Turkish ID number, signature), contact (email address, telephone number, workplace name/title), personnel (position/title), finance (invoice and payment information), legal transaction (information in lawsuit and enforcement files, information contained in correspondence with judicial and administrative authorities) and information contained in powers of attorney.

Method of collection: electronic and printed documents, emails, telephone calls and contracts.

Purposes of processing: providing advisory services to clients; carrying out finance and accounting operations; carrying out communication activities; carrying out and auditing business activities; carrying out business continuity activities; carrying out sales processes for goods and services and carrying out contract processes.

Legal grounds: Your personal data are processed solely for the purposes above, on the legal grounds set out in Article 5(2)(c) of the KVKK: “processing of personal data belonging to the parties to a contract is necessary, provided that it is directly related to the establishment or performance of that contract”, and in Article 5(2)(f): “processing of data is mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that this does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject”.

Prospective Clients

Personal data belonging to prospective individual clients, and to the authorised representatives and employees of prospective corporate clients, with whom a consultation process is conducted in order to provide our services, are processed.

Personal data processed: identity (name, surname), contact (email address, telephone number, workplace name/title), personnel (position/title) and information on the request and message content you share in your consultation request.

Method of collection: the consultation request form on our website, electronic and printed documents, emails and telephone calls.

Purposes of processing: carrying out communication activities; carrying out and auditing business activities; carrying out sales processes for goods and services.

Legal ground: Your personal data are processed solely for the purposes above, on the legal ground set out in Article 5(2)(f) of the KVKK: “processing of data is mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that this does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject”.

Personal data you share with us through the email address [email protected], the telephone and WhatsApp line +90 530 936 94 64 and the contact form on our website are processed within this scope.

Personal data processed: identity (name, surname), contact (email address, telephone number), request, suggestion and complaint information and information on message content.

Purposes of processing: carrying out communication activities; following up requests and complaints; conducting the research and review needed to provide support on the subject of your request; providing you with information and support.

Legal ground: Your personal data are processed solely for the purposes above, on the legal ground set out in Article 5(2)(f) of the KVKK: “processing of data is mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that this does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject”.

Transfer: If you share your information through electronic forms, your personal data may be transferred to infrastructure providers whose servers are located abroad; and, where necessary to fulfil our legal obligations, to authorised public institutions and organisations as required by legal regulations and legislation.

Where they become the subject of legal proceedings, the personal data we obtain are processed solely for the purposes of ensuring that activities are carried out in compliance with the legislation, following up and conducting legal matters, and providing information to authorised persons, institutions and organisations.

Legal grounds: Article 5(2)(ç) of the KVKK: “processing is mandatory for the data controller to fulfil its legal obligation”, and Article 5(2)(e): “processing of data is mandatory for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right”.

Transfer: These personal data may be transferred, in order to fulfil our legal obligations, to authorised public institutions and organisations as required by legal regulations and legislation.

Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Data

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, with regard to your personal data you have the right to:

  • a) learn whether your personal data are processed,
  • b) request information if your personal data have been processed,
  • c) learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether they are used in accordance with that purpose,
  • ç) know the third parties in Turkey or abroad to whom your personal data are transferred,
  • d) request rectification of your personal data if they are incomplete or inaccurately processed,
  • e) request the erasure or destruction of your personal data under the conditions set out in Article 7 of the KVKK,
  • f) request that the operations carried out under paragraphs (d) and (e) be notified to the third parties to whom your personal data have been transferred,
  • g) object to a result against you arising from the analysis of the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
  • ğ) claim compensation for damage if you suffer damage as a result of the unlawful processing of your personal data.

How to Submit a Request

You may submit your requests regarding the rights above by any of the following means:

  • by email to [email protected], sent from your email address registered in our systems,
  • in writing, by sending it to Uncalı Mah. 1219 Sk. 3C/10 Konyaaltı / Antalya,
  • by the other methods set out in the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller.

Under the Communiqué, your application must include your name, surname and, if the application is in writing, your signature; your Turkish ID number if you are a citizen of the Republic of Turkey, or, if you are a foreign national, your nationality, passport number or, if any, your identification number; your residential or business address for service of notices; if any, your email address, telephone and fax number for notifications; and the subject of your request.

Your requests regarding the rights set out in Article 11 of the KVKK will be concluded free of charge as soon as possible, depending on the nature of the request, and within thirty days at the latest. However, if the process requires an additional cost, a fee may be charged in accordance with the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.
